Alwar is a hilly region located amidst the craggy rocks of the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan. This place serves as the administrative headquarters of the Alwar District. Bala Quila Fort stands majestically about 1000 feet above the Alwar city. The fort has 15 large and 51 small towers and the entire structure is adorned with marble columns and lattice window balconies.
Bhangarh fort, a medieval fort, is a natural beauty, complete with natural springs, banyan trees and waterfalls. Other attractions within the fort are the rich havelis and quite a few temples.
